Adam Bishop
Chief Executive Officer, Vistula, LTD.
After studying Physics at London University, Adam Bishop
has spent his entire career in telecommunications. Three
and a half years as a network engineer in mainland Europe,
followed by 18 years in sales and business management.
In the 1990s, Adam Bishop spent five years at British
Telecommunications PLC where he rose through BT’s
Senior Management Grades and was responsible for the successful
development of BT’s International Wholesale Business.
Adam Bishop has a profound knowledge of the commercial
and correspondent international telecommunications arena,
having traveled extensively across the world conducting
business with international carriers.

Nicholas Topham
Chief Operating Officer, Vistula LTD.
Nick Topham specializes in providing advisory services
to telecommunications operators and regulators, and in
conducting business development activities in developing
world markets, primarily in the Middle East and S.E. Asia.
He also offers “business turnaround”, acquisitions
and market development consultancy.
His earlier roles include Founder and CEO of EquiTel Communications
focused on communications in developing markets, prior
to which he was Director of the Global Communications
and Entertainment practice at Arthur Andersen where he
advised service provider organizations internationally
on issues ranging from privatization, valuations and acquisitions
to the development of global services. During this time
he managed the privatization of Telecom Malta, and has
also acted as consultant advisor to the operator in Oman.
His career has included thirteen years at BT where he
was latterly Head of Market Development and Strategy for
BT International Carrier Services. Nick was responsible
for BT wholesale strategy in the context of the evolving
international telecommunications market. He was also responsible
for the strategy, product development and launch of the
innovative wholesale refile product, Select, that subsequently
carried billion of minutes.
He holds a bachelors degree in Bio-Medical Electronics,
and a masters in Telecommunications Business from University
College London.

Jeremy Strong
Chief Technology Officer, Vistula, LTD.
Jeremy has over 10 years of experience in international
telecommunications. Having started his career in engineering
and project management with Mercury Communications in
the UK, he moved to Cable & Wireless Plc, where he
undertook a number of international projects, most notably
with German start-up operator o-tel-o, designing and implementing
business processes enabling the operator to be first to
market post-liberalization in 1998. He also spent time
with C&W Regional Businesses, being responsible for
project managing the Y2K program of 10 C&W operating
units, and with Cable & Wireless Communications as
Business Continuity Project Manager. Prior to joining
Vistula, Jeremy was previously with EquiTel, where he
was responsible for the development and operation of their
extensive international SDH network and IP Backbone. Jeremy
holds an honors degree in Industrial Information Technology
from UCE.
